Does the Education System (High School) Generate Success?

Will a high school education guarantee success? Let's break this down, in order to answer this question. First of all, what does high school consist of? It's been nearly twenty years since I've graduated, but, I doubt much has changed.
In high school, the students have both mandatory and optional courses, there are also co-op opportunities available along with after school activities, such as sports.
Students are mandated to take science, math, history, English, secondary language (French in Canada and Spanish in America), physical education, etc.

The optional courses include trades: electricity, automotive, welding, etc.
While math, science physical education and English are important, the problem is that learning history and playing sports aren't going to grant any of our world's youth any potential success in their future. No, secondary school only prepares them to become laborers.
History and sports are individual interests, they don't equip anybody with competence, ambition, motivation or the necessary skills to become successful business men and women.
As for languages, learning only one will not help as there are about 6, 500 actively spoken languages in the world today (according to infoplease.com).
Success, depending of what the individual's goal is, would require taking up additional languages in order to communicate with other countries, if he is seeking international success.
This means that, a secondary school education will not suffice.

Well, it's known by many that the world's wealthiest have dropped out of high school: Bill Gates (Microsoft), Richard Branson (Virgin), Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook), Steve Jobs (Apple, R.

I.
P.

) and Gabe Newell are examples.
What are the problems with high school, in particular? High school also demands punctuation and involves stresses such as deadlines, homework, tests and examinations and some of the courses don't provide much, in terms of education.

Most of the kids are often bored, so they skip classes and do whatever instead, only to be punished by the school authorities.

There's also the social part, peer pressure and bullying. Yeah, the education is a real success machine! If you're smart and a 'straight A' student, you will be subject to bullying and if you're considered dumb, you still get picked on.

Are the parents and authorities any help? Obviously not! School creates social divisions, groups of teenagers who hate each other and constantly fight for the silliest of reasons. So, really, not only is school not a place to generate business success, it's also very dangerous for children. People actually need to go elsewhere for supplements, be it the library or the internet. Not just for business purposes but personal investments and/or projects.

What about college? College is another story. This is simply a higher level of education, which costs lots of money.
Not everybody has the opportunity to attend college.
Students often make the mistake of aiming for a field which they think will either be easy or which they believe is right for them, but, once they actually go, they realize how stressful and complicated their decided field of work is.
Then, they drop out and that's a large sum of money down the drain.
So, the moral of the story is, while high school does have its values: Punctuation IS essential, as is hard work and competence.

However, the wasted time on unnecessary courses and the system's inability to capture the interest of student are major drawbacks.
Is anybody doing anything to change this? No.
The internet is the answer for the most part, because it's information.
